Leo and I, Beastie Boyz 4 evr
Alright, actually need to start making this a regular habit. For real this time.
Final week here is getting down to the wire, and money's gettin tight, I've been having a lot of fun and not worrying about the funds, and that is starting to hurt my wallet.
But now im aware and I can keep on with a more mindful disposition on things. So that is a plus i guess.
Last week was a good one though.
Both Real Estate and Black lips passed through Clermont, which was surprising, to say the least. Anyway, they were both solid sets, and the crowd was surprisingly mostly over 35, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing. But it was unexpected. Black lips played a lot of material off of
Let It Bloom, opening with Sea of Blasphemy (tight), which was a plus seeing as i have not really checked out their new album. But it was a good show. First time I've seen them since high school.
But the Real Estate show, through thoroughly less attended, was just too great. Also being that i got to chat and hang with the dudes from the group for a while afterwards which was fantastic. They are quite nice guys and they have such a solid live show. Highlight being Suburban Dogs off of their first album. But their album that they are touring for right now,
Days, is what I've been listening to all the time since it dropped in october, so it was perfect that i got to check them out here. See them if you can.
Ass for now, i have been feeling awfully creative in the last few days, and i have had a lot of time to flush some ideas out. So all is well for me.
Im going to Madrid in 5 days to see some good friends and spend christmas with them. It will be a good reunion. I can hardly wait.
